The HabiTat Is a Completely Unique Accommodation & Event Option Next To JasPEr nationaL Park
The HabItat is Built Out of Shipping Containers and has 30 Individual Rooms Each wIth Thier own Bathroom and SHower, plus 2 Large KItchens, Living Room and 1600 Square FT Yoga Studio Event space.
It is located on Folding Mountan at the East edge of jasper National Park and Footsteps away from Jasper East Cabins, Folding Mountain Brewing and The Sun/Fire Place.
For the 2025 season from Apr to October it is Jasper East Hostel due to many of the hostels in the area being lost to the Jasper Wildfire.
Habitat Building
The Habitat is a flexible space next to Jasper National Park. In summer, it operates as a hostel, offering 30 private rooms for individual travelers.
You can host your event during this time and share the space with other hostel guests, or rent the entire building for exclusive use year-round, perfect for family retreats, film crews, corporate retreats, or wellness workshops.
After the 2024 Jasper wildfires destroyed local hostels, we transformed Habitat to meet demand for affordable, eco-conscious accommodations while preserving its retreat-ready design.

Rent The Entire Building
Book all 30 private rooms for exclusive use, ideal for family retreats, private events, corporate retreats, or workshops (up to 30 guests). You manage planning, catering, and guest coordination; we provide the space.

Rent individual Rooms
Book one or more rooms and share the hostel with other guests, perfect for summer travelers or small groups hosting events. Enjoy shared kitchens, living areas, and the Sanctuary Space (for Nature Room guests).
Nature Rooms
Our Nature Rooms are as close to nature as possible without actually being beneath the stars per se. These single rooms feature mattresses and linens that are 100% organic. They are handmade by Obasan, a company in Ottawa, that only uses certified organic materials. You'll drink mountain water that is UV filtered and can help strengthen the immune system, and you'll enjoy a plethora of natural light.
Habitat Event & Yoga Room
You'll have nature right outside your window in our Habitat Event & Yoga Room. With large windows to let in the light and views of the forest, you can bring nature to your event. Plan your event with us and experience the outdoors, too.
Sun/Fire Place
One of the most popular spaces at our wellness resort in Alberta is our Yurt & Nature Spa. Our Yurt is warmed by a fireplace and is set at the forest's edge. You'll be surrounded by nature in this environment and feel awakened with every breath. In addition, you can experience our wood-fired barrel sauna, cold plunges and grounding where you regenerate and calm your body.
